General Law Practice
Originally from York Region, Guy Farb articled in Mississauga and set up his first practice in Newmarket and moved to Guelph for the opportunities available in the developing city.
Guy Farb has a General Practice because he enjoys the ongoing relationships with his clients, and the challenge in the variety of work while providing solutions to their ongoing personal and business needs.
His practice provides legal expertise in the following areas:
- Real Estate – buying, selling a house/condo – target would be geographical – local to Guelph and Wellington County
- Business Legal Support – business owners, small/medium business, agreements of incorporation, partnership agreements, succession planning agreements, any legal issues that come up, buying/selling/setting up a business, establishing an office/factory. Could get into issues to do with insurance, shipping products.
- Estates (has to do with the distribution of assets according to a will after death – usually to family etc., filing for probate). He usually does this for his existing clients, after real estate transactions.
