Guy Farb is originally from Thornhill, Ontario, a York Region bedroom community north of Toronto. The area was very much like Guelph is today. After starting his first practice in Newmarket, Ontario, he and his wife Kathleen moved to Guelph because it had the same atmosphere and they thought Guelph would be a good community in which to raise a family and establish a General Law Practice.
Guy has always contributed to his community. Interested in politics in high school, Guy assisted in campaigns to elect Alf Stong as MPP for York Centre.
He enjoys the daily variety of work in his General Law practice in Guelph, with cases in different areas of the law. He finds the variety of the people oriented work interesting. It gives him daily mental challenges working through the different issues and enjoys wordsmithing materials for his cases which cover many areas of the law.

Guy Farb has 25+ years direct experience in law in Canada and is able to read other languages. This means while he could not provide representation in court, he is able to read and interpret wills and legal decisions in French, Spanish, Italian and Hebrew.
