Estate Litigation

Estate litigation can occur when a will may be old and therefore not in keeping with the actual condition of your estate, not clear or specific or may not have been written in compliance with the current estate laws. Sometimes a family member may feel they are entitled differently than the Executor of the Estate has deemed correct and reasonable under the will and you can waste a lot of time and money when someone is contesting the will. You want to avoid costly Estate Litigation because the costs diminish the estate assets, and the ensuing bad feelings by making sure the estate lawyer who draws up the will has done so carefully and with due diligence. The idea is to move quickly to probate.

The result of a well written will is ease of settlement, avoiding a probate dispute with a lawyer who has a good relationship with his client so he understands his clients’ needs and the survivors’ needs and is up to date with the current laws and ensures the fairness of the distribution of the estate for everyone.
