Civil Litigation

Civil Litigation Law

Tort noun  A wrongful act or an infringement of a right (other than under contract) resulting in injury, physical or otherwise leading to civil legal liability.[1]

“The Law of Torts is concerned with the ever-expanding variety of harm suffered…” [2]

“The primary purpose of Tort Law is to compensate victims of tortious activities, not to punish the wrongdoers.”[3]

Litigation, or the taking to court of a matter in dispute can occur in Civil Law, and Business Law or Corporate Law situations when a plaintiff wishes to dispute something, determine liability with a resulting remedy.

Ideally, people do what they have to do without any problems or harm to others if they follow generally accepted civil procedures, but occasionally things don’t work out, there is a breach of agreement and you need a civil litigation lawyer to head to court to settle tort law issues in front of a judge and assign restitution for damages, in the form of cash or other actions.

Make sure the Lawyer representing you despite which side you are on is skilled in getting directly to the root of the problem and creative in obtaining a quick resolution that is agreeable to all parties with minimum of fuss and cost.

You can be confident in Guy Farb’s over 30 years experience in civil litigation and contract litigation. He will skillfully negotiate the right deal for all parties.
